pre wedding meeting with S & J
S & J decided to take a road trip down to the SW of France to visit their wedding venue Chateau de Puissentut in the Gers now that travel is permitted.
This was great as it meant that they could stop and call in on me whilst I was up in the north of France and I would not miss out on this opportunity to meet them. The only issue was that I didn’t have all of my equipment and their schedule meant that we would have to meet right in the middle of a bright sunny day. What is the issue you ask? Or you probably don’t care - but - if you are interested, bright sunny days are lovely unless you need to have your portrait taken. Bright sunny days when the sun is high in the sky cast big, dark shadows on the face. A bit of flash can sort this out. Did I have a flash with me?…………..Nope.
We managed. They are gorgeous so that helped. We were tight on time - an hour and half with 20 minutes of that walking to the quiet end of the beach plus I was photographing and filming them. These guys were game on for all of it and it was very relaxed. Their wedding is going to be great fun and the venue is stunning.
