Chateau de Puissentut

Although I was due to photograph a wedding or two at this stylish & comfortable wedding & events venue in 2020……..some global affecting issue came up to prevent it……
But that doesn’t mean that I am not very well acquainted with Chateau de Puissentut . I have even stayed there so I can personally as well as professionally recommend the venue and team led by Angela & D.K. - the BEST hosts.
The chateau and grounds are just charming. Most of the work within the extensive garden, interiors & exteriors is taken on by Angela & D.K. They know every single inch and work hard to make sure that your event not only looks good but will run smoothly.
The decor is a mixture of new and old which blend together to create an incredibly pleasing scene and yet remains sympathetic to the theme of a French countryside chateau.
The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and large door frames. Thick stone walls enable the interior to remain cool during the warm months. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The furnishings are of high quality and are comfortable as well as looking good.
During November Angela invited me to photograph and film throughout the interiors - a walk through if you like. This doesn’t include the barn (which with its beautiful wood floor, very high ceiling and huge oak beams) nor the covered bar directly attached to the barn - the perfect party place - both allow Puissentut to be an interior and outdoor venue. Rain arrives? No problem. But the film does include the accommodation including the Gite which sits slightly away from the main house.
Having had the pleasure of photographing and filming at this venue over the last two years I can say that you would be making an excellent choice by celebrating your wedding or event here. Puissentut is extremely well positioned being an hour from Toulouse airport and surrounded by fields yet close to a market town.
